Synopsis
As a child, Alina Fernandez was secretly visited at odd hours by a man who she would later see on television. At the age of ten, she finally learned that the man was Fidel Castro, and that he was her father. As she grew up, Alina began speaking out against Castro and the revolution and became a dissident forbidden from leaving Cuba. In 1993, after several failed attempts, she finally escaped on an airplane disguised as a Spanish tourist.
