Synopsis

Simon Cooper, an old miner, makes a valuable strike but is murdered by bandits who want to discover the location of his mine. Before his death, Cooper confides in Frank Darwin, who frustrates the bandit's efforts. Muriel, the miner's niece, arrives in search of her uncle, and Jasper Martin, the bandit, tells her Darwin is his murderer. Ultimately she learns the truth, marries Darwin, and becomes heir to the mine.
