Synopsis
Hercules, bored with life on Olympus, is thrust to Earth by his father, Zeus. The god is picked up by a freighter and saved from irate New York longshoremen by a diminutive stranger, Pretzie. While demonstrating feats of strength in Central Park, Hercules is befriended by a professor and his daughter, Helen. After capturing a bear that has escaped from the zoo, Hercules embarks on a career as a professional wrestler. Although Zeus orders Nemesis to take Hercules to Hades, Nemesis and Pluto rob the god of his earthly strength. Hercules and Pretzie, pursued by a gang of hoodlums, flee by chariot up Broadway. The compassionate Mercury orders Atlas and Samson to assist their fellow, while Zeus, repentant, provides the thunderbolt that subdues his son's adversaries. As Hercules returns to Olympus, Zeus contemplates visiting Earth.
