Brief Synopsis

Based on a true incident, this film tells the story of the 101st Airborne Division's 1969 battle in Vietnam over Hill 937, "Hamburger Hill." For ten days, the Vietcong refused to surrender, and both sides suffered heavy losses. When the American soldiers did take the hill, their victory turned out to be a hollow one.
