Synopsis

Honest gambler Case Silverthorn purchases a ranch by mail, only to learn that the seller was lynched before the deed was recorded. Unable to take immediate possession, Case decides to help the dead man's daughter Sharon and son Jud, who have no knowledge of the transaction. While working as a card dealer in the local saloon, he discovers that his ranch is being used by saloon owner Kelly Barnum and his associates, the Larkin brothers, as a storage location for rustled cattle. The rustlers murder young Jud and try to frame Case for the killing, but town marshal Dex Hargood assists Case in trapping the villains and proving his innocence. Case then takes legal possession of the ranch and marries Sharon.
