Synopsis

Ezra, a carefree country boy who spends idle time fishing at the swimming hole, greatly admires Myrtle, a girl who turns his life into misery. He does daring stunts for her edification and risks censure by passing her notes and sugarhearts in school, but when he takes her boat riding, his rival, Skinny, takes her away from him. Then he discovers Esther, a longtime admirer, whose love is revealed when she shares her lunch with him on the riverbank.
