Biography
Cynthia Kania was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Kania kickstarted her acting career in comedies like "Bachelor Party" (1984) with Tom Hanks and Tawny Kitaen. She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "Designing Women" (CBS, 1986-1993). Following that project, she worked on "Empty Nest" (NBC, 1988-1995) and "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" (1993-97). More recently, she earned a role in the horror sequel "Friday the 13th, Part VI: Jason Lives" (1986) with Thom Mathews. In her more recent career, she tackled roles on "On Our Own" (ABC, 1994-95) and "High Society" (CBS, 1995-96). She also was featured in the TV movie "Murder of Innocence" (CBS, 1993-94). Most recently, Kania acted on "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-).
