Biography
A significant figure in the Spanish film industry of the 1970s, 80s and 90s, Gonzalez Sinde enjoyed a long collaboration as a writer and producer with Oscar-winning director Jose Luis Garci. The pair co-wrote "Pending Exam," "Green Pastures" (1979), and "Alone In the Early Hours." Gonzalez Sinde produced more than 50 features including "El Love Feroz," "Cantico" and "The Executioners." His work as a director included "Long Live the Middle Class" (1980) and "By the Pale Light of the Moon" (1986). Gonzalez Sinde also co-founded the Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and served as the director of regional TV network Tele-Madrid.
