Biography
Jane Jones was an actress who was no stranger to being featured in numerous film roles throughout her Hollywood career. Jones had an early acting career in film, appearing in such titles as "Alexander's Ragtime Band" (1938) with Tyrone Power and the Dana Andrews musical "Night Song" (1947). She had a part on the television special "The Rise and Rise of Daniel Rocket" (PBS, 1985-86). Her film career continued throughout the eighties and the nineties in productions like the Bridget Fonda dramatic comedy "Singles" (1992), the Annabella Sciorra drama "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle" (1992) and the Ray Wise comedic drama "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me" (1992). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Child in the Night" (CBS, 1989-1990). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in the adventurous drama "Homeward Bound: the Incredible Journey" (1993) with Don Alder. She also had a part in the TV miniseries "Pandora's Clock" (1996-97). Jones most recently appeared in "Stephen King's Rose Red" (2001-02).
