Biography
Götz George was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, George landed roles in various films, including "Kiss and Kill" (1968), "Aus einem Deutschen Leben" (1976) and "Die Flucht" (1980). He also appeared in "Abwarts" (1983), "Zahn um Zahn" (1985) and "Zabou" (1987). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Blauaugig" (1989), "Der Bruch" (1989) and "Schtonk" (1992). He also appeared in "Der Sturzflieger" (1995), "The Death Maker" (1995) and "The Sandman" (1996). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Rossini - oder die mörderische Frage, wer mit wem schlief" (1997), "Solo Fuer Klarinette" (1998) and "After the Truth" (1999). He also appeared in "The Trio" (1999), "Maria an Callas" (2006) and "Mein Kampf" (2010). Most recently, George acted in the Michael "Bully" Herbig satire "Zettl - Unschlagbar charakterlos" (2012).
