Biography
Candy Johnson worked on a variety of projects during her entertainment career. Johnson started off her career in film with roles in the comedic adventure "Beach Party" (1963) with Robert Cummings, the Frankie Avalon comedy sequel "Muscle Beach Party" (1963) and the Frankie Avalon musical comedy "Bikini Beach" (1964). Johnson also appeared in "Pajama Party" (1964) starring Tommy Kirk, "Emmylou at the Ryman" (The Nashville Network, 1991-92) and "Nunsense 3: The Jamboree" (The Nashville Network, 1997). She also worked on "Hello Darlin': A Tribute to Conway Twitty" (The Nashville Network, 1998-99). Johnson's music was most recently featured in "Get On Up" (2014).
