Chris Gardner was an actor who worked in television for most of his Hollywood career. Gardner's acting career began with roles in the series "Law & Order" (1990-2010), "The Practice" (ABC, 1996-2004) and "Oz" (HBO, 1997-2003). He also appeared in "The West Wing" (NBC, 1999-2006). During the early stages of his Hollywood career, Gardner mainly held acting roles in films like the comedy "Keeping the Faith" (2000) with Ben Stiller. He continued to work steadily in television throughout the early 2000s, appearing on "One on One" (2001-06), "iCarly" (Nickelodeon, 2007-2012) and "Brothers" (Fox, 2009-2010). Additionally, he later acted in the Seann William Scott comedy "The Promotion" (2008). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Hart of Dixie" (CW, 2011-15). He also lent his distinctive voice to the Chris Pine blockbuster sci-fi sequel "Star Trek Into Darkness" (2013). Gardner most recently acted in the comedy "Wuss" (2013) with Nate Rubin.
