Biography
Valentin Ganev was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. Ganev started his acting career landing roles in films, such as the spy thriller "The Berlin Conspiracy" (1992) with Marc Singer, the dramedy "East-West" (2000) with Sandrine Bonnaire and the David Arquette dramatic adaptation "The Grey Zone" (2002). He also appeared in the TV movie "Nature Unleashed: Avalanche" (Syfy, 2004-05). He also was featured in the miniseries "Spartacus" (2003-04) and "Frederick Forsythe's Icon" (2004-05). He kept working in film throughout the early 2000s, starring in the horror feature "The Abandoned" (2007) with Jordanka Angelova, "Trade Route" (2007) with Kosta Tsonev and the foreign "Hindemith" (2008) with Ernestina Shinova. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Magma: Volcanic Disaster" (Syfy, 2005-06). Recently, he tackled roles in "The Fourth Kind" (2009), the dramatic adaptation "The Way Back" (2010) with Ed Harris and "Assassin's Bullet" (2012). He also appeared in the Scott Adkins action film "El Gringo" (2012). He also was featured in the TV movie "Taken: The Search For Sophie Parker" (Lifetime, 2013-14). Ganev most recently acted in the adventure "Viking Quest" (2015) with Harry Lister Smith.
