Biography
Shortly after his 1996 graduation from the School of Communications at Northwestern University, Breen Frazier landed a recurring gig penning episodes for the teen sci-fi series "Roswell." His proven ability to layer a mysterious plot with mounting intrigue caught the eye of the creative team behind J.J. Abrams's hit show "Alias," prompting Frazier to join the espionage thriller in its second season. While the writer supplied dizzying scenarios of mistaken identity and perilous government corruption, his role in the "Alias" universe continually grew. In addition to becoming an executive story editor, he was tapped to expand the plot beyond the television series with a prequel novel and a gap-bridging animated short entitled "The Animated Alias: Tribunal," which marked Frazier's first job as a producer. Following the series' end, Frazier wrote and produced nearly two dozen episodes of the supernatural drama "Ghost Whisperer." In 2008, he became a prominent force behind the investigative procedural "Criminal Minds," reuniting with such Alias alumni as the writer-producers Eric Messer and Debra J. Fisher.
