Putting his musical talent to use, Chaz Jankel's music was featured in Hollywood productions. Jankel began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like "Casual Sex?" (1988) and the Dennis Quaid drama "D.O.A." (1988). In the eighties and the 2010s, Jankel's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "Killing Dad" (1989), the dramatic adaptation "The Rachel Papers" (1989) with Dexter Fletcher and "War Party" (1989). His work was also in the Andrew Stevens horror film "Red-Blooded American Girl" (1990) and "K2" (1992) with Michael Biehn. Jankel was nominated for a BAFTA Award for "Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll" in 2009. Most recently, Jankel worked on the dramatic musical "Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll" (2010) with Andy Serkis.
