Biography
Entered the film industry with MGM in Detroit in the late 1960s and held a variety of executive marketing positions with 20th Century Fox, Rastar, Columbia Pictures and Almi Distributing Corp. during the 1970s and 80s. Forbes formed his own marketing firm during the 1980s and joined MGM as president of distribution and worldwide marketing in 1987, leaving to become president of distribution at Orion Pictures in 1990.
