Biography
Myron Floren worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Floren worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, includingthe Robin Williams and Forest Whitaker blockbuster "Good Morning, Vietnam" (1987), "Heaven Help Us" with Andrew McCarthy (1985) and "Memories With Lawrence Welk" (1982-83). He also contributed to "Myron Floren Presents Stars of the Lawrence Welk Show" (PBS, 1991-92) and "The Lawrence Welk Show" (1971-1983). In the nineties, Floren devoted his time to various credits, such as "From the Heart: A Tribute to Lawrence Welk and the American Dream" (PBS, 1992-93), "This Boy's Life" (1993) starring Robert De Niro and "Frank Yankovic: America's Polka King" (PBS, 1994-95). He also worked on "The Lawrence Welk Show: Then and Now" (PBS, 1994-95). In the nineties, Floren lent his talents to projects like "A Lawrence Welk Family Christmas" (PBS, 1995-96), "From Lawrence Welk: To America With Love" (PBS, 1996-97) and "Lawrence Welk: A Wunnerful, Wunnerful Life" (1997-98). His credits also expanded to "Mystery Men" (1999). Floren last appeared in "Lawrence Welk: Milestones and Memories" (PBS, 2000-01). Floren passed away in July 2005 at the age of 86.
