Bill Flynn was a South African actor who carved out quite a successful career for himself on the Hollywood big screen. Biography

Bill Flynn was a South African actor who carved out quite a successful career for himself on the Hollywood big screen. Flynn had an early acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the Mark Burns horror feature "Doctor Maniac" (1973), the James Ryan action movie "Kill and Kill Again" (1981) and "Magic Is Alive, My Friends" (1985) with Richard Loring. He also appeared in "Saturday Night at the Palace" (1988). He also appeared in the TV movie "Prisoners of the Lost Universe" (Showtime, 1982-83). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "A Private Life" (1989) and "Kwagga Strikes Back" (1991). He also appeared in the TV special "Behind the Mask: The IRA and Sinn Fein" (PBS, 1997-98). Flynn was most recently credited in "Hawaii Five-O" (CBS, 2010-). Flynn continued to exercise his talent in the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "Fullmetal Alchemist" (Cartoon Network, 2003), "Running Riot" (2006) and "Comanche Moon" (2007-08). His credits also expanded to "Hell Girl" (IFC, 2008-09). Flynn passed away in July 2007 at the age of 59.
