Biography
Tony Banks worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Banks began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the Tony Maylam musical "Genesis - A Band in Concert" (1976), "The Shout" (1979) and "The Wicked Lady" (1983) with Faye Dunaway. His music also appeared in the Kevin Bacon action flick "Quicksilver" (1986) and the sci-fi flick "Lorca and the Outlaws" (1987) with John Tarrant. He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Genesis: Opening Night" (1991-92), "The Way We Walk, Part 1" (Fox, 1992-93) and "The Way We Walk, Part 2" (Fox, 1992-93). As his entertainment career progressed, he appeared in the Mark Frankel comedy "Solitaire for Two" (1996). Banks continued to exercise his talent in the nineties and the early 2000s, taking on a mix of projects like "Stark Raving Mad" (NBC, 1999-2000), "American Psycho" (2000) and "Emeril" (NBC, 2001-02). His credits also expanded to the Adam Sandler and Kevin James smash hit "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry" (2007) and "Genesis: When In Rome" (2008). Banks most recently appeared on "Genesis- Sum of the Parts" (Showtime, 2014).
