Biography

Tim Finn brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Finn began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the drama "Puberty Blues" (1981) with Nell Schofield, "Starstruck" (1982) and the comedy "Sixteen Candles" (1984) with Molly Ringwald. An an actor as well as a musician, Finn took on a part in the Eric Roberts comedy "The Coca-Cola Kid" (1985). In the eighties and the nineties, Finn's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "Cane Toads: An Unnatural History" (1988) and the "Les Patterson Saves the World" (1990) film with Barry "Dame Edna" Humphries. Finn's music was also featured in the Georgie Henley box office smash family adventure "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" (2005) and the Josh Jackson drama "Aurora Borealis" (2006). In addition to his music, Finn also appeared on-screen in "Predicament" (2010). Finn most recently worked on "Mr. Pip" (2014) with Hugh Laurie.
