Throughout her entertainment career as an accomplished actress, Rosemarie Fendel graced the silver screen many times. Early on in her acting career, Fendel landed roles in various films, including "Traumstadt" (1974), "Dream City" (1976) and the drama "Der Tod in der Wachstrasse" (1982) with Benjamin Voelz. She also appeared in the comedy "Kaiser und Eine Nacht" (1985) with Emil Steinberger. She continued to act in productions like the Loriot comedy "Odipussi" (1988) and the Dimitri Poulikakos drama "Erebos" (1989). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Die Kinder" (PBS, 1990-91). She also lent her voice to the Hanna Schygulla period drama "Fontane Effi Briest" (1989). Recently, she tackled roles in the comedy "Schtonk" (1992) with Götz George and "Private Lies" (2000) with Martina Gedeck. She also was featured in the TV movie "Bonhoeffer: Agent of Grace" (PBS, 1999-2000). Fendel most recently acted in "Die Ensamkeit der Krokodile" (2001).
