Biography
Actor Mel Fair was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. Fair made appearances on a wide range of programs early on in his acting career with credits on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (1996-2003), "The District" (CBS, 2000-04) and "CSI: Miami" (CBS, 2002-2012). He also appeared in "Hunter" (NBC, 2002-03) and "Miss Match" (NBC, 2003-04). He continued to work steadily in television throughout the early 2000s, appearing on "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-) and "Do Not Disturb" (Fox, 2008-09). Following that project, he appeared in "The Ultimate Gift" (2007) and the horror sequel "Halloween" (2007) with Malcolm McDowell. Recently, he tackled roles on "Rizzoli & Isles" (2009-16), "Scandal" (ABC, 2011-) and "Ray Donovan" (Showtime, 2012-). He also acted in films like the dramatic adaptation "Atlas Shrugged Part One" (2011) with Taylor Schilling and the horror sequel "The Collection" (2012) with Josh Stewart. Fair most recently acted on "The Player" (NBC, 2015-).
