Peter Hughes was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Hughes's career began by acting in comedies like "The Great Muppet Caper" (1981) and "Hope and Glory" (1987) with Sarah Miles. He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Lost in London" (CBS, 1985-86) and "Pack of Lies" (CBS, 1986-87). He also appeared in the TV special "Jeeves & Wooster" (PBS, 1990-91). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Jack the Ripper" (1988-89). In the eighties and the nineties, he worked on the television shows "A Perfect Spy" (1988-89), "Agatha Christie's Poirot" (PBS, 1988-2013) and "Traffik" (PBS, 1989-1990). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Hughes lent his talents to projects like "Butterfly Kiss" (1996), "Jude" (1996) and "Madagascar Skin" (1996). His credits also expanded to "The Innocent Sleep" (1997) starring Annabella Sciorra, "Cold Case Files: The Missing and the Dead" and "Robyn Hitchcock: Sex, Food, Death ... and Insects" (SundanceTV, 2006-07).
