Biography
Dave Edmunds brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Edmunds worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Back to the Beach" (1987) starring Tommy Hinkley, "Give My Regards to Broad Street" (1984) starring Sir Paul McCartney and "Party, Party" (1982). He also contributed to "Porky's Revenge" with Dan Monahan (1985), "Stardust" with David Essex (1975) and "The Tom Jones Special" (ABC, 1970-71). In the eighties, Edmunds devoted his time to various credits, such as "Light of Day" (1987), "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" (1987) and "The Prince's Trust All-Star Rock Concert" (HBO, 1987-88). He also worked on "The Legends of Rock 'n' Roll" (Cinemax, 1988-89). Edmunds's music was also featured in the Dustin Hoffman drama "Moonlight Mile" (2002), the Ed Burns dramedy "The Groomsmen" (2006) and the Adam Brody comedy "In the Land of Women" (2007). His music was also featured in the dramatic period piece "The Education of Charlie Banks" (2009) with Jesse Eisenberg and the dramatic adaptation "The Lovely Bones" (2009) with Rachel Weisz. Edmunds's music was most recently featured in "Rush" (2013) with Chris Hemsworth.
