Elizabeth Hubbard was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Hubbard's career began with roles in "Guiding Light" (1951-2009), "As the World Turns" (CBS, 1955-2010) and "The Edge of Night" (CBS, 1955-1985). During the early stages of her Hollywood career, Hubbard mainly held acting roles in films like "I Never Sang For My Father" (1970). She also appeared in the TV special "Ceremony of Innocence" (PBS, 1973-74). Following that project, she appeared in the dramatic adaptation "The Bell Jar" (1979) with Marilyn Hassett, "Ordinary People" (1980) and the Suzanne Weber dramatic adventure "Cold River" (1981). She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010). She also appeared in the drama "Center Stage" (2000) with Amanda Schull. Additionally, she appeared on the television special "50 Years of Soaps: An All-Star Celebration" (CBS, 1994-95). She held additional roles in television including a part on "Hope & Faith" (ABC, 2003-06). Most recently, Hubbard acted on "Life on Mars" (ABC, 2008-09).
