Academy Award-winning screenwriter Sidney Howard led an extraordinary career in Hollywood. Howard worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "A Lady to Love" (1930) starring Vilma Banky, "Bulldog Drummond" (1929) and "Condemned" (1929). He also contributed to "The Secret Hour" (1928). Howard was most recently credited in "The Most Happy Fella" (PBS, 1979-1980). Howard had a number of different projects under his belt in the thirties and the forties, including "Yellow Jack" (1938). Howard passed away in August 1939 at the age of 48.
