Jean Speegle Howard rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Howard worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "B.O.R.N." with Ross Hagen (1989), "Cotton Candy" (NBC, 1978-79) and "Huckleberry Finn" (ABC, 1974). He also contributed to "Scout's Honor" (NBC, 1980-81), "Scrooged" (1988) and "Through the Magic Pyramid" (NBC, 1981-82). He then appeared in the comedy "I Don't Buy Kisses Anymore" (1992) with Jason Alexander, the comedic drama "The Paper" (1994) with Michael Keaton and the Tom Hanks blockbuster action flick "Apollo 13" (1995). He spent the nineties tackling film roles in the fantastical comedy "Matilda" (1996) with Mara Wilson, "My Fellow Americans" (1996) and the dramatic adventure "Traveller" (1997) with Bill Paxton. He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "The Louie Show" (CBS, 1995-96) and "Homeboys in Outer Space" (UPN, 1996-97). Most recently, Howard appeared on "Ron Howard: Hollywood's Favorite Son" (1999-2000).
