Biography

Ken Drury was an actor who was no stranger to being featured in numerous film roles throughout his Hollywood career. Drury began his acting career with roles in such films as the romance "Yanks" (1979) with Richard Gere, "The Ploughman's Lunch" (1983) with Jonathan Pryce and the Ray McAnnaly comedy "Venus Peter" (1989). He also appeared in the comedy "Wilt" (1990) with Mel Smith and "Crossing the Line" (1991). He kept working in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, starring in the Helena Bonham Carter comedy adaptation "Women Talking Dirty" (2001) and "Janice Beard" (2002) with Rhys Ifans. He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Doctor Finlay" (PBS, 1992-93). He also was featured in the TV movie "The Queen's Sister" (BBC, 2005). Most recently, Drury acted in the drama "Set Fire to the Stars" (2015) with Elijah Wood.
