Biography
Actor Bernard Horsfall was widely known for his presence on the silver screen. Horsfall kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Steel Bayonet" (1957), the action movie "High Flight" (1958) with Ray Milland and "Man in the Moon" (1960). He also appeared in the Richard Attenborough drama "Guns at Batasi" (1964), the George Lazenby action flick "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" (1969) and "Gold" (1974). He continued to act in productions like the action picture "Shout at the Devil" (1976) with Lee Marvin, "Brass Target" (1978) and the biographical drama "Gandhi" (1982) with Ben Kingsley. He also landed a role in the miniseries "Inside the Third Reich" (1981-82). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Jewel in the Crown" (PBS, 1984-85). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Murder Rooms: The Dark Beginnings of Sherlock Holmes" (PBS, 1999). Horsfall most recently acted in the Charlie Cox foreign "Stone of Destiny" (2008).
