Biography

James Horan was an actor who graced the silver screen many times throughout his Hollywood career. Horan had an early acting career in film, appearing in such titles as "The Clown" (1953) with Red Skelton, the comedy "Chattanooga Choo Choo" (1984) with Barbara Eden and the thriller "Madonna" (1991) with Deborah Mansy. He had a part on the television special "Thanksgiving Day Parade" (Lifetime, 1989-1990). Horan worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "All My Children" (ABC, 1969-2011). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties, appearing in the Dan Quinn action movie "Scanner Cop" (1993), "Allyson is Watching" (1998) and "Counter Measures" (1998). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Highlander: The Series" (1992-98). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the dramatic adaptation "Gods and Generals" (2003) with Jeff Daniels and the Ryan Phillippe dramatic adaptation "Flags of Our Fathers" (2006). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-). He also lent his distinctive voice to "Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles" (1999-2000). Horan most recently acted in "Choose Connor" (2008).
