Telma Hopkins was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. At the beginning of her acting career, Hopkins appeared in various television sitcoms like "A New Kind of Family" (ABC, 1979-1980), "Marie" (1979-1981) and "Bosom Buddies" (ABC, 1980-82). She also was featured in the miniseries "Roots: The Next Generations" (1978-79). During the early stages of her Hollywood career, Hopkins mainly held acting roles in films like "Trancers" (1985). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Rock 'n' Roll Mom" (ABC, 1987-88). Following that project, she appeared in the Adrian Pasdar drama "Vital Signs" (1990), "Trancers II: The Return of Jack Deth" (1991) and "Trancers III: Deth Lives" (1992) with Tim Thomerson. She also appeared in the sports comedy "The Love Guru" (2008) with Mike Myers. Most recently, Hopkins acted on "K.C. Undercover" (Disney, 2014-).
