Linda Hopkins was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Hopkins kicked off her entertainment career by acting in action flicks like "The Education of Sonny Carson" (1974) with Rony Clanton and Don Gordon and "Honkytonk Man" (1982) with Clint Eastwood and Kyle Eastwood. She had an early role on the television special "Mitzi... Roarin' in the '20s" (CBS, 1975-76). She additionally was featured in the miniseries "King" (1977-78) and "Roots: The Next Generations" (1978-79). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Living the Dream: A Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King" (1987-88), "Noel: Best Wishes For a Merry Christmas" (NBC, 1988-89) and "Abbey Lincoln, You Gotta Pay the Band" (PBS, 1992-93). She also appeared in "Black and Blue" (PBS, 1992-93). Additionally, she appeared on the television special "Wolf Trap Presents a Gift of Music" (PBS, 1993-94). She held additional roles in television including a part on "Something Wilder" (NBC, 1994-95). She also held acting roles in films like "Leprechaun 2" (1994) with Warwick Davis and the documentary "Faster" (2004) with Valentino Rossi. Hopkins also contributed music to "The Blues" (2003-04). Most recently, Hopkins appeared in "Cries in the Dark" (Lifetime, 2006-07).
