Angeline Ball was an actress who founded her entertainment career success with roles in film. Ball had an early acting career in film, appearing in such titles as "The Commitments" (1991) with Robert Arkins and the comedy sequel "My Girl 2" (1994) with Dan Aykroyd. She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "Highlander: The Series" (1992-98). Ball also provided her talents as a voice actor for "The Pebble and the Penguin" (1995). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties, appearing in "Brothers in Trouble" (1997) and "Trojan Eddie" (1997) with Stephen Rea. Recently, she continued to act in the adaptation "The Gambler" (1999) with Michael Gambon, the Katharina Wressnig thriller "Housebound" (2001) and "Bloom" (2004). She also appeared in "Dead Long Enough" (2005) and the Tom Wilkinson foreign "An Angel For May" (2005). Ball most recently acted on "Mr. Selfridge" (PBS, 2012-).
