Biography
Jim Holmes was a prolific actor who created a name for himself largely on the big screen. Holmes began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the comedy "Pass the Ammo" (1988) with Bill Paxton, the comedy "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead" (1991) with Christina Applegate and the Chevy Chase comedy "Cops and Robbersons" (1994). His film career continued throughout the nineties and the early 2000s in productions like "Girly Magazine Party" (1997) with Jim Turner, "The Corndog Man" (1998) and "Santa Fe" (1998) with Lolita Davidovich. He also appeared in the Mark Wahlberg hit action flick "Planet of the Apes" (2001). Most recently, Holmes acted on "The Crazy Ones" (CBS, 2013-14).
