Throughout his entertainment career as an accomplished actor, Michael Desante graced the silver screen many times. Desante's early acting career was founded on his roles in various dramas, such as "Melrose Place" (Fox, 1991-98), "Alias" (ABC, 2001-06) and "The Agency" (CBS, 2001-03). He also appeared in the TV movie "The Journey of Allen Strange: Alien Vacation" (Nickelodeon, 1999-2000). In the early 2000s, Desante devoted his time to various credits, such as "Cradle 2 the Grave" (2003) starring Jet Li, "Sleeper Cell" and "Soldier of God" (2006) starring Tim Abell. He also worked on "Brüno" (2009). He spent the early 2000s and the 2010s tackling film roles in the Jeremy Renner action flick "The Hurt Locker" (2009) and the Travis Fimmel thriller "Harodim - Nichts als die Wahrheit?" (2012). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Crossbones" (NBC, 2013-14). Most recently, Desante worked on the Patrick Stewart blockbuster action film "X-Men: Days of Future Past" (2014). Desante's husband was Yasmine Elmasri.
