Biography
Barbara Baldavin was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Baldavin kickstarted her acting career appearing on various dramas, including "Adam-12" (NBC, 1968-1975) and "Medical Center" (CBS, 1969-1976). She had an early role on the television special "The New Healers" (ABC, 1971-72). She also appeared in the TV movie "A Cry For Help" (ABC, 1974-75). During the early stages of her acting career, Baldavin worked in films like the William Elliott crime feature "Hangup" (1973). In the seventies and the eighties, Baldavin devoted her time to various credits, such as "The November Plan" with Wayne Rogers (1976), "Marciano" (ABC, 1979-1980) and "Don't Go to Sleep" (ABC, 1982-83). She also worked on "Shooting Stars" (ABC, 1982-83) and "Dark Mirror" (ABC, 1983-84). Baldavin continued to exercise her talent in the eighties and the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "Velvet" (ABC, 1983-84), "The Lady From Yesterday" (CBS, 1984-85) and "The Loner" (ABC, 1987-88). Her credits also expanded to "Satan's Princess" (1990) starring Robert Forster and "Curacao" (Showtime, 1992-93). Most recently, Baldavin worked on "Suicide: The Comedy" (1998) with Jamie Harris.
