Biography
Grey DeLisle (born Erin Grey Van Oosbree) is an incredibly prolific voice actress, with hundreds of roles in television, film, video, and video games to her credit. Born on August 12, 1972, in Ford Ord, California, DeLisle is also a singer-songwriter, and her golden voice has kept her extremely busy since the late 1990s. DeLisle has provided her voice to the video game incarnations of such blockbuster fare as "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace" in 1999, as well as several subsequent "Star Wars" games; "X-Men Legends" in 2004; "Ice Age 2: The Meltdown" in 2006; and "Speed Racer" in 2008. On television, DeLisle's domain is animation; her first big role came in 2000, as Lor McQuarrie, one of the main characters on the Disney Channel show "The Weekenders." From 2004 to 2006, she co-starred as Japanese pop star Yumi Yoshimura on the adventure comedy "Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi," while simultaneously starring in another Eastern-influenced, but U.S.-made, animated comedy "Xiaolin Showdown." From 2001 to 2007, she starred as Mandy on the Cartoon Network's "The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy," while from 2006 to 2009, she co-starred as Riley Daring to Nancy Cartwright's (the voice of Bart Simpson) Todd Daring on the Disney Channel's "The Replacements," about two orphans who replace their normal parents with a secret agent mother and stuntman father. Recent DeLisle voice projects include co-starring as Dr. Holiday on the sci-fi series "Generator Rex," and reprising her role as Daphne, on "Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated," both in 2010.
