A star in and out of the ring, Oscar De La Hoya made many appearances in the entertainment world. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "The 1990 Goodwill Games" (1989-1990), "Back to School '92" (1992-93) and "The 61st Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade" (1992-93). Early in his acting career, Hoya could be seen on award shows like "The 4th Annual Desi Awards" (1991-92) and "The VIDA Awards" (1994-95). Hoya also lent his voice to various characters in "The Simpsons" (1989-). A regular on the awards show circuit, he made an appearance on "ALMA Awards" (1997-98). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Arli$" (1996-2003). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Caesars Palace 30th Anniversary Celebration" (1996-97) and "Seventeen: The Faces For Fall" (1998-99). In his more recent career, he could be seen attending awards shows like "The 1st Annual Latin Grammy Awards" (2000-01), "The VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards" (2000-01), and "The 2000 Radio Music Awards" (2000-01).
