Biography
Jim Davidson was an actor most commonly known for his memorable roles in television. He moved into TV commercials, including one for Head and Shoulders shampoo. At the beginning of his acting career, Davidson appeared in various dramas like "Guiding Light" (CBS, 1951-2009). He also appeared in the TV movie "Crowfoot" (CBS, 1994-95). In the beginning of his Hollywood career, Davidson acted in films like "Last Gasp" (1995) with Robert Patrick. Several more television roles followed in the nineties, including stints on "The Sentinel" (UPN, 1995-99) and "Ally McBeal" (Fox, 1997-2002). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Reasons of the Heart" (USA, 1996-97). More recently, he tackled roles on "Charmed" (WB, 1998-2006) and "18 Wheels of Justice" (The Nashville Network, 1999-2001). He also appeared in "Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles" (2001). Most recently, Davidson acted on "CSI: Miami" (CBS, 2002-2012).
