Dale began directing independent films, including early work on "P4W: Prison For Women" (1981), "Hookers on Davie Street" (1983) and the Lizzie Borden documentary "Calling the Shots" (1988). Following that project, she worked on "NCIS" (2003-), "Castle" (ABC, 2008-) and "Rizzoli & Isles" (TNT, 2009-16). She also appeared in "The Bridge" (CBS, 2009-2010). Most recently, Dale directed "The Whispers" (ABC, 2014-15).
