Lara Daans was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including a part on "Gene Roddenberry's "Earth: Final Conflict"" (1997-2002). She also starred in the TV movies "Triplecross" (1994-95), "Electra" (HBO, 1996-97) and "End of Summer" (Showtime, 1996-97). She continued to work steadily in television throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing on "Relic Hunter" (1999-2002) and "Missing" (Lifetime, 2002-05). Additionally, she later acted in the Ellen Barkin crime thriller "Mercy" (2000). Daans focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the drama "Darkness Falling" (2003) with Janet Kidder, the dramatic period piece "The Poet" (2008) with Jon Scarfe and the Cuba Gooding Jr. action flick "Sacrifice" (2011). Daans most recently acted in "A Dark Truth" (2012).
