Henry Hayashi was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also starred in the TV movies "A Perry Mason Mystery: The Case of the Grimacing Governor" (1994-95), "Beanstalk" (Disney, 1994-96) and "Sharon's Secret" (USA, 1996). A few of his roles at the time were also in movies like "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III" (1993) starring Elias Koteas and the Steve Martin comedic adaptation "Sgt. Bilko" (1996). He continued to work steadily in television throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing on "Boston Legal" (2004-08), "House" (Fox, 2004-2012) and "Heroes" (NBC, 2006-2010). He also appeared in "Castle" (ABC, 2009-2016). He also had roles in film during these years, including roles in the action picture "Blue Streak" (1999) with Martin Lawrence. More recently, he tackled roles on "Southland" (2009-2013), "Hawaii Five-O" (CBS, 2010) and "2 Broke Girls" (CBS, 2011-17). He also held acting roles in films like the Jason Statham action flick "Crank: High Voltage" (2009) and "Gamer" (2009) with Gerard Butler. He also lent his distinctive voice to "Oliver Stone's Untold History of the United States" (2012-13). Hayashi most recently worked on the Gong Li historical romance "Shanghai" (2015).
