David Hart became an actor when he was just four years old. Hart's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the dramatic adaptation "The Gypsy and the Gentleman" (1958) with Melina Mercouri, "The Island" (1980) with Brad Sullivan and "The River" (1984) with Mel Gibson. He also appeared in "Silver Bullet" (1985). His film career continued throughout the eighties and the nineties in productions like the Kelly McGillis romance "The House on Carroll Street" (1988), "Disorganized Crime" (1989) and the action picture "War Party" (1989) with Billy Wirth. He also appeared in the action film "The Real Mccoy" (1993) with Kim Basinger. Hart had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties and the early 2000s, including "In the Heat of the Night: Who Was Geli Bendl?" (CBS, 1994-95), "Under Suspicion" (2000) and "Evolution" (2001). His credits also expanded to "Liam" with Anthony Borrows (2001) and the Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy box office smash "Shrek" (2001). Most recently, Hart worked on "Angry Boys" (HBO, 2011).
