Biography
Ron Chartier was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He also starred in the TV movies "Posing: Inspired By Three Real Stories" (CBS, 1991-92) and "Arctic Blue" (HBO, 1994-95). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Highlander: The Series" (1992-98) and "The X-Files" (Fox, 1993-2002). He continued to work steadily in television throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing on "The Dead Zone" (2001-07), "UC: Undercover" (NBC, 2001-02) and "John Doe" (Fox, 2002-03). He also starred in the TV movies "Voices From Within" (1994-95), "Jack Reed: A Killer Amongst Us" (NBC, 1995-96) and "Unwed Father" (ABC, 1997-98). Recently, he tackled roles on "That Was Then" (2002-03), "Peacemakers" (USA, 2003-04) and "The L Word" (Showtime, 2003-09). He also appeared in "Tru Calling" (Fox, 2003-05). He also was featured in the TV movie "Stealing Sinatra" (Showtime, 2003-04). He also appeared in the Ioan Gruffudd blockbuster action flick "Fantastic Four" (2005). Chartier most recently acted in the Malin Akerman box office smash action picture "Watchmen" (2009).
