Jan Hammer brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Hammer began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like "A Night in Heaven" (1983) and "Gimme an "F"" (1984). He was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for "Miami Vice" in 1984. . In the eighties and the nineties, Hammer's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "I Come in Peace" (1990) with Dolph Lundgren, the Ken Wahl action flick "The Taking of Beverly Hills" (1991) and the William Petersen crime flick "In the Kingdom of the Blind" (1994). Hammer's music was also featured in "Beastmaster III: The Eye of Braxus" (1995), the action film "The Secret Agent Club" (1996) with Hulk Hogan and the Lisa Eichhorn dramatic comedy "A Modern Affair" (1996). His music was also featured in the Cameron Diaz box office smash action picture "Charlie's Angels" (2000). Hammer's music was most recently featured in "The Sitter" (2011) with Jonah Hill.
