Castelo next focused his career on film, appearing in the Maria Joao Luis drama "Camarate" (2002), "A Esperança Está Onde Menos Se Espera" (2009) and the Kyle Redmond-Jones dramatic adaptation "Star Crossed: Amor em Jogo" (2009). He also appeared in the Tomas Alves dramatic adaptation "Un Amor de Perdição" (2009). More recently, Castelo acted in "A Bela e o Paparazzo" (2010) with Soraia Chaves.
