Vanishing, The (1988) -- (Movie Clip) Good Glue, Isn't It? Simon (1980) -- (Movie Clip) Institute For Advanced Concepts Opening narration by James Dukas harkens Sleeper, 1973, which writer-director Marshall Brickman wrote with Woody Allen, and introduces Max Wright as Hundertwasser, Wallace Shawn as Van Dongen, Jayant as Barundi, William Finley as Fichlander and Austin Pendleton as the boss Becker, in Simon, 1980, starring Alan Arkin.

Always (1989) -- (Movie Clip) I Was Rusty On Panic Sort of a Maguffin opening, highly dramatic, from director Steven Spielberg, in the picture he said was inspired-by, rather than a remake-of A Guy Named Joe, 1944, introducing Richard Dreyfuss and Holly Hunter, John Goodman supporting, in Always, 1989, co-starring Audrey Hepburn.
Always (1989) -- (Movie Clip) Time Is Funny Stuff Firefighter pilot Pete (Richard Dreyfuss) doesn’t realized he’s just crashed his plane and died, but things are explained to him by “Hap” (Audrey Hepburn, her first appearance, having come out of retirement, for what would be her final film), in Steven Spielberg’s Always, 1989.
Getting Gertie's Garter (1945) -- (Movie Clip) Under Severe Strain Researcher Ken (Dennis O’Keefe) is demonstrating his new anesthetic, assisted by Clancy (Don Beddoe), but frantic because he’s court-ordered to recover the garter he gave ex-gal Gertie (Marie McDonald) and thinks his wife (Sheila Ryan) won’t understand, in Getting Gertie’s Garter, 1945.
