Biography
World-class musician Deana Carter led a successful career in both entertainment and country music. Carter worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Anastasia" (1997) starring Liz Callaway, "Austin City Limits" (PBS, 1974-) and "Evening of Country Greats" (The Nashville Network, 1996-97). She also contributed to "Farm Aid 96" (The Nashville Network, 1996-97), "The 24th Annual American Music Awards" (ABC, 1996-97) and "The 39th Annual Grammy Awards" (CBS, 1996-97). In the nineties, Carter devoted her time to various credits, such as "Stone Country" (The Nashville Network, 1997-98), "The 1997 Billboard Music Awards" (Fox, 1997-98) and "The 31st Annual Country Music Association Awards" (CBS, 1997-98). She also worked on "Hope Floats" (1998) starring Sandra Bullock. Carter most recently worked on "Nashville: On the Record 2" (ABC, 2014-15). Carter's husband was Brandon Malone.
