Biography
Andre Carthen was an actor best known for his portrayal of characters throughout various television series. At the beginning of his acting career, Carthen had roles on several types of programs such as "Beverly Hills 90210" (1990-2000), "Brotherly Love" (Warner Bros. Television Network, 1995-97) and "The Drew Carey Show" (ABC, 1995-2004). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Hughleys" (UPN, 1998-2002). During these years, he additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in "Born Bad" (1998). He also starred in the TV movies "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge" (HBO, 1998-99) and "Another Woman's Husband" (Lifetime, 1999-2000). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "One on One" (UPN, 2001-06). He also was featured in the TV movies "Once Upon a Christmas" (ION Television Network, 2000) and "Twice Upon a Christmas" (ION Television Network, 2001). Carthen most recently appeared on "Intimate Portrait: Kathy Ireland" (Lifetime, 2002-03).
