Biography
John Caponera was an accomplished actor, noted for his comedic timing in his roles for television shows. He also was featured in the miniseries "Drug Wars: The Cocaine Cartel" (1991-92). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "The Comedy Club Special" (1988-89), "NBC Super Special All-Star Comedy Hour" (NBC, 1993-94) and "Jocks" (Comedy Central, 1993-94). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "L.A. Law" (NBC, 1986-1994) and "The Good Life" (NBC, 1993-94). He continued to work steadily in sitcoms throughout the nineties, appearing on "The John Larroquette Show" (NBC, 1993-97) and "Full Frontal Comedy" (Showtime, 1994-97). He also appeared in the TV special "The Real Deal" (Comedy Central, 1994-95). He also appeared in the comedy "For Richer Or Poorer" (1997) with Tim Allen. during these years In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "Love Boat: The Next Wave" (1997-99), "The Army Show" (WB, 1998-99) and "Popular" (WB, 1999-2001). He also appeared in "Yes, Dear" (CBS, 2000-06) and "All About Us" (NBC, 2001-02). Caponera most recently acted on "That '80s Show" (Fox, 2001-02).
